Mercury Rx & Saturn Station

video

Saturn has moved back to within a degree of my Midheaven reminding me to clean up my act. With Neptune & Co in my third house, staying organized has been a real challenge because my edges are so blurry. Right now I am scattered all over the place – or so it feels.

With a natal Mercury inconjunct Uranus, my moments of brilliance are followed by longer periods when I feel incoherent. That’s the primary reason I prefer to do written reports rather than phone consults or in person. Thinking quickly is not my forte but being willing to consider something in depth is. To put this way: I have the ability to discern patterns easily but explaining what I see clearly and tactfully requires much more time and effort.

To summarize my video: if you are interested in what I have to say about astrology, read this blog, my posts on Real Astrologers, and my tweets. I don’t write about astrology on my Facebook page. My goal is to not totally burn out attempting to keep up with all this. We’ll see . . .

Mercury returns to Taurus today and will join the Sun in squaring Neptune & Co over the weekend and early next week, affecting those with planets and Angles from 25-26 degrees in the fixed signs the most. Anyone else beginning to get the idea life is about to take one of those interesting turns?

My midheaven is at 26 Aquarius so I feel like a deer in the headlights!

Hi Tammy! Welcome!

Yeah, I can relate . . . with my ASC-DES at 25 Scorp-Taurus. Can't decide exactly how to handle this. Many times these aspects come and go with minimal impact (other than worrying about them ahead of time). Are we our own worst enemies here?! Entirely possible with Neptune present. LOL

I hope you keep doing the videos they are cute!

My son enjoyed watching your video with me - he likes your energy!

Saturn is stationing within a degree of square my Venus. Last year he stationed exactly, and I mean exactly square my Moon.

Let's just say, Saturn... I HEAR YOU!!!!

Thanks, Tammy! :-)

Hi Jessica!
My son enjoyed watching your video with me - he likes your energy!Must be my first house Venus. It does seem to translate well on these video clips. I'll have to send messages to my granddaughter this way to see if she likes them. Right now it's granddad who rates . . . his hearing aids go beep, beep. LOL

Saturn is being relentless about making sure we pick up after ourselves. Every once in awhile I peek between my fingers at the idea of Saturn moving into Libra this fall. groan

Oh blurry and incoherent, that's how I feel most of the time. haha

And like you, I much prefer writing about something, especially if one has to ponder on the exact words we should say - a badly put word can be disastrous in a consultation (and everywhere else too).

Was someone filming you on this video? Or does the camera make authomatic zooms? I was puzzled.

Hey DM!

And like you, I much prefer writing about something, especially if one has to ponder on the exact words we should say - a badly put word can be disastrous in a consultation (and everywhere else too). That's it exactly. Maybe because I have Mars conjunct Mercury in Scorpio, I am very aware of the power of words to wound or to heal. On the way to my first Saturn Return, Saturn in Leo squared all my Scorpio planets forcing me to confront this. And I had the refresher course just about the time I started blogging and deciding how I wanted to approach doing astro-consults for others.

Was someone filming you on this video? Or does the camera make automatic zooms? I was puzzled. My webcam has a face tracking option and i used it this time. Do you think it's too distracting? It had been awhile since I made one of these videos, so I forgot about the other adjustments I made to position the webcam before.

Hey Neith!

I also really like your videos, they are cute indeed! I can relate to your article and also to the feeling that life is about to make one of those interesting turns as you wrote in your previous post. We'll see what happens.. but I also try not to worry too much. We have a saying here in the netherlands which says that you'll suffer the most from the suffering you fear you will have to undergo in the future but which might eventually not even happen to you!

I too enjoyed watching your video, it adds another dimension. It's weird how we spread ourselves out among all these different social media.

Hi Punarvasu!

Those of us with overactive imaginations can come up with all kinds of horrible scenarios . . . that never materialize. Which is why I am always working on staying as neutral as possible. Also why predictive astrology has no draw for me. ;-)

Hey Jeffrey!! :-D

I too enjoyed watching your video, it adds another dimension. It's weird how we spread ourselves out among all these different social media. Thanks!! One thing I've noted about doing the videos is they are most effective if done sparingly. Too many in a row and people stop commenting for some reason.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the social media sites when we move from mutable to cardinal signs with the Saturn-Uranus opposition. With my NNode in Gemini, all of these are sooo appealing to me.

great attitude! hee....

home again, home again, jiggity jig.

three things are necessary for a wedding in texas -- a preacher, a music guy, and pit master for the brisket.

But NOT a howling north wind and rain that drops the temps to mid-50s for an afternoon wedding in the Hill Country.

I am glad to be home.

Hey, thanks, OTCA!! :-) Pretty neat Donna selected your blog too because you have great stuff and are one of the more consistent bloggers on astrology.

Laughed my head off reading your knitting blog too. :-D

Casey!!! :-D Just about the time I start wondering what the heck you are up to, you pop in and say "Hi"

LOL! pit master . . . Texas really is "other".

No, howling cold wind & 50 degree temps do not make for a fun outdoor wedding. I have an outdoor wedding to attend Aug 15 in Olympia. Now it could be lovely or it could rain. People who choose wedding dates months in advance, hoping for good weather in parts of the country where changeable is normal are extreme optimists IMO.

I don't know why I said *square* my Venus. No, Saturn is right ON my Venus at 14 Virgo. Ugh. It was my moon he station in exact square to a year ago.

Yes, and now Saturn prepares to move through Libra. Callooh! Callay!

;)

Yes, and now Saturn prepares to move through Libra. Callooh! Callay!Second this . . . I'm resigning myself to the inevitable because Saturn will be conjuncting ALL my personal planets over the next six years~ as it travels thru Libra, Scorpio and early Sagittarius. It will likely be very liberating due to being pruned back to the bare essentials . . . a "no frills" life. Not much different than how I live now! LOL

Neith, it is such a treat to see and hear you like this, on video!!! I hardly spend any time online anymore, haven't for months, and just rediscovered your site. Glad I did. :-) xoxoxox

Hi Jane!!

Glad you are enjoying my little videos. They are both fun and frustrating to make because I can get my words all jumbled up. However, the camera is kind and for some reason, my personality comes across quite well.

ICE, baby. Number one on our list.
